The Hearing Suite is a unique collaboration between Ms Fiona Howlin, adult & paediatric Senior Clinical Audiological Scientist, along with her clinical audiologist team, and Ms Deirdre Fitzgerald, consultant adult and paediatric Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon.

Senior Adult & Paediatric Clinical Audiologist & Audiological Scientist
Fiona Howlin
BSc MSc Audiology, M.I.S.H.A.A., I.A.A, A.A.A
Fiona received a BSc (Hons) in Science in Maynooth University in 2004 and obtained an MSc in Audiology from the University of Manchester in 2010. Fiona then trained as an Audiological Scientist, completing her clinical competence in 2011.
Fiona has practiced audiology for over 10 years and gained valuable experience in both the public and private sector. She has extensive experience in adult and paediatric diagnostic testing and the treatment and rehabilitation of hearing loss.

Kate Lyons
BSc MSc Audiology, M.I.S.H.A.A., I.A.A, A.A.A
Kate holds an Honours Master of Science Degree in Audiology from University College Cork. She has varied experience from working in paediatric and adult clinics in both the HSE and private sector. Kate joined the clinical team at The Hearing Suite in 2024. She is a member of the Irish Audiology Association, the Irish Association of Hearing Aid Audiologists as well as the American Academy of Audiology.

Deirdre is a consultant Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon working in Dublin and Kildare, but with a practice that looks after patients from throughout Ireland. She has vast experience in caring for both adults and children with hearing loss.

Vita Remeikaite
Vita joined The Hearing Suite in 2024 as Audiology Clinic Receptionist. Vita manages our Audiology Clinic reception and bookings. She is an experienced medical administrator, who holds a Diploma in Psychology, and also speaks Lithuanian and Russian.
